International Casting Service (ICS) represents the finest Australian artists working in theatre, film, television, radio and business media, both nationally and overseas.
The agency was created by the late Gloria Payten in 1961 and initially represented actors.
In 1990 ICS and Associates expanded. Apart from actors, the agency currently represents directors, writers, theatre designers, lighting designers, film and television production designers, costume designers, directors of photography and media consultants.
ICS Voices also provides voice-over artists for television commercials, documentaries, corporate videos, book readings and business events.
To foster the development of film, television and theatre in Australia, Gloria Payten established two bequests that provide fellowships for actors and directors to travel overseas and broaden their professional knowledge and expertise.
